Occupational Health Advisor
Location: Cheshire- hybrid
Contract: 6 months (temporary)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
We are recruiting for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join on a 6-month agency contract to cover a hybrid role in Cheshire.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver sickness absence case management
- Conduct return-to-work assessments and provide fitness for work advice
- Carry out health surveillance, including spirometry and audiometry
- Provide guidance on workplace adjustments, rehabilitation, and risk assessments
- Support health promotion initiatives
- Maintain accurate, GDPR-compliant health records
- Liaise with HR, management, and external healthcare providers
Requirements
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
- Proven experience as an Occupational Health Advisor
- Strong case management experience, ideally in a remote setting
- Good knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice
- Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
- Occupational Health qualification (desirable)
